Overview

  • This file contains all Macau Government and Banking Holidays of 2011 in Microsoft Outlook Calendar Event format that you can add into you Microsoft Outlook Calendar easily.
  • Each holiday will show up in your Outlook Calendar along the top of its appointed day, as an all-day event. No reminder/alarm is set, but you can easily change that by clicking the desired item.

Microsoft Outlook Calendar Built-In Holidays

Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007 comes with many international holidays. You may follow the steps below to get them activated:

  • In Outlook, open the Tools menu, click “Options”,
  • In the Preferences tab, under “Calendar”, click the “Calendar Options” button,
  • In the Calendar Options window, under “Calendar Options”, click the “Add Holidays” button,
  • Select your desired locations.

NOTE:

  • You would not be able to find Macau SAR so you can use the one we prepared here below for you.
  • If you uncheck any location of which those holidays will be uninstalled, so leave your home country or the default checked.

Addition of Macau & Banking Holiday 2011

To facilitate your time management, we here prepared the Macau holiday calendar that includes both banking holiday and official government holidays like Winter Solstice.

Please execute the following to add the holidays onto your Microsoft Outlook 2003 or 2007:

  • Click here to download the Holiday File and save it onto your desire folder.
  • Go to the folder that the filed saved and double click the Holiday File.
  • When the “Add Holidays to Calendar” window prompted, selected “Bank Holiday 2011” and click “OK: button to proceed.
  • Then a message “The Holidays were added to your Calendar” will display to inform you it is done, click “OK” button to complete.
Now go to your calendar and you should found Macau Holiday of 2011 have been added.
Remove or Edit After Installation
To remove or edit any holiday items after the addition, you must sort the calendar as a list to find them as a group. Here below is how to remove them or edit any single item:

 

  • In Outlook 2002 or 2003, under Calendar view, click View > Arrange By > Current View > Events, sort by Locations. select the items with “Bank Holiday 2011” and delete in groups.
  • In Outlook 2007, under Calendar view, click View > Current View > Events, sort by Locations, select the items with “Bank Holiday 2011” and delete in groups.
  • In case you want to edit the content of a particular item, instead of deletion, just double click the desired item to open it and make your change.
  • To get back to your old view, go back to Current View and select Day/Week/Month.
