2003 BNU Car Loan was launched to provide finance to buyers of new and used cars. The lowest interest rate in the market, an extended repayment period and a fast approval process are key features of this new product. BNU launches BNU Mobile Banking, a banking service that allows customers to access their accounts in BNU from their mobile phone, with WAP service activated. BNU is the first Bank in Macau to launch the Platinum Visa Card in MOP, a credit card which offers unique privileges and customer service. 2002 BNU is awarded the "Highest Card Sales Volume", the "Highest Average Card Spend - Gold Card" and the "Best Issuer Fraud Control" by Visa International. BNU is awarded the "Highest Growth Rate in 2002 - Number of Cards in Macau" by MasterCard International. BNU launches BNU World Cup MasterCard and affinity BNU VISA Clube Militar de Macau, both credit cards. BNU co-operated with IPM to allow payment of IPM school fees by credit card. BNU installed one ATM at "Macau University of Science and Technology" (MUST). BNU launched the payment of Government taxes through BNU Online. To celebrate BNU 100 years in Macau, BNU offered double bonus points program to credit cardholders on purchases with BNU Credit Cards between 15/09 - 31/10/2002.

2001 BNU launches BNU Online, an  Internet banking service. BNU launches Credit Pass, a personal loan package product. BNU launches BNU NetCard,  a credit card for shopping in the Internet. BNU is awarded - "The best overall Bank" by Visa. BNU is awarded -  "The first Maestro Implementation in Macau" by MasterCard.

2000 The first bank in Macau issuing  Maestro Card, a debit card that can be used in over 80 countries. BNU ATM network  accepts  major international credit and debit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, Cirrus, Electron and Plus. Introduction of magnetic stripe savings passbook and the installation of automatic passbook update machines at all branches.

1999 Set up a network of merchant  acquiring business. The first bank in Macau launching Corporate VISA Card. A Customer Care Program was initiated and further developed. Replacement of a new front-end retail banking system.

1998 Installation and operation of a a credit card center. The first bank in Macau providing Combined Account Statements  and Dual Function Cards to customers.

1997 A call center service  was established. BNU is awarded - "The Most Visa Affinity / Co-branded Program Award" by Visa.

1996 BNU launches BNU Direct, the  24-hours phone banking service. Replacement of the Core Retail Banking System.

1995 The first bank in Macau launching a credit card denominated in MOP, the BNU MOP VISA card.
