VISA GOLD CARDS EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE SERVICE DETAILS

  • Together with Visa International, BNU consistently provides the best emergency assistance service to our Gold Visa Cardholders. No matter where you are, you can access this service by just making a phone call to us.

PROTECTION

  • We understand your need when the unexpected comes your way while traveling overseas. Together with Visa International, BNU Visa Gold Cardholders, supplementary cardholders, spouses, dependent children under 22 (under 26 if they are still full-time students) are all covered by the emergency assistance service if traveling together.

Medical Assistance

  • In case of a medical emergency, Visa Emergency Assistance Center can provide you:
  • medical referral;
  • monitoring;
  • financial assistance;
  • follow up assistance.

  • Information such as the name, phone number and address of doctors and hospitals in the area you are located will be provided. However, we kindly recommend that you contact the local emergency help first in case of life threatening situation before you contact the Visa Emergency Assistance Center.

  • In case you need hospitalization or medical care, a medical professional will be assigned by the Center to monitor your treatment and will communicate with your family, if requested.

  • When deemed appropriate by the Visa Emergency Assistance Center’s medical personnel and/or if you so request, special transportation services can be provided to transfer you to a different hospital, or treatment facility, or return you home for treatment. Transportation of a family member to your hospital can also be arranged.

  • The Center will also ensure you will not be denied medical treatment for financial reasons (the Center will arrange payments, or provide a guarantee of payment when necessary). Special requests of prescriptions can also be handled by the Visa Emergency Assistance Center subject to local laws and/or the Center can arrange the transportation of documents directly to you by courier.

Legal Assistance

  • If you require legal assistance, for any reason, when traveling overseas, the Center will provide you with names, addresses and telephone numbers of local attorneys and/or embassies and consulates. Also the Center will follow up your case until satisfactory legal representation is located, and, at the same time, if you so demand, the Center will maintain informed whomever you indicate. In case you need funds for bail bonds or for any other legal fees, the Visa Emergency Assistance Center can also make available up to USD 5,000.

Traveling Assistance

  • The Visa Emergency Assistance Center can provide services to facilitate your travel arrangements and/or deal effectively and efficiently with any problems that may happen during your trip:

    • PRE-TRIP ASSISTANCE - information such as weather reports, health precautions, currency exchange rates, Visa and immunization requirements can be provided by the Center before you travel. Should you need any special medical requirements; the Center can make arrangement in advance, so that the requested equipment and supplies will be available at your destination as well as appropriate medical facilities.

    • EMERGENCY TICKETS - the Center can arrange replacement tickets to be picked up at an airport or terminal, or directly delivered to you and help you with lost ticket reimbursement procedures at your own expenses

    • LOST LUGGAGE ASSISTANCE - If you lost your luggage while traveling, you can request the Visa Emergency Assistance Center to arrange for the immediate shipment of replacement items to you and also help you obtain any reimbursement.

    • TRANSLATION SERVICES - the Visa Emergency Assistance Center can provide translation services in all major languages over the phone, and upon your request, local interpreters can also be located.

  • You can leave a message with the Center, any time calling a toll-free number or calling collect to Visa Emergency Assistance Center, and the Center.  Your message will be delivered in accordance with your instruction and through the most efficient method available at that time.
