Renminbi Services

At BNU, you may now enjoy a diversified range of Renminbi services including deposits, exchange and remittances:

1. DEPOSIT SERVICES*
a) Passbook Savings Account

• Monthly simple interest, credited quarterly.
• Deposit and withdrawal of Renminbi at any of our branches during office hours.
• Minimum account opening balance: CNY100.

b) Statement Savings Account

• Monthly simple interest, credited monthly.
• Deposit and withdrawal of Renminbi at any of our branches during office hours.
• Minimum account opening balance: CNY100.

General Terms and Conditions for Passbook / Statement Savings Accounts

c) Time Deposit

• A range of deposit tenors – 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months for your selection.
• Minimum account opening balance: CNY10,000.

*1. To open an Renminbi deposit account, customers must be Macau Residents.

2. EXCHANGE SERVICES*
Two-way currency exchange between Renminbi (CNY) and Patacas (MOP) in cash or by fund transferbetween accounts for Macau residents.

*Two-way CNY/MOP Exchange Service is subject to the exchange limits specified by the Bank from time to time.If the exchange is made through a joint-name Renminbi deposit account, the exchange amount will first be deducted against the daily exchange limit of the primary account holder.

3. REMITTANCE SERVICES*
Renminbi remittance to your personal Renminbi bank accounts under the same name at banks in China.

Buy / Sell CNY20,000 per person per transaction if in cash.

3. REMMITANCE SERVICES
Daily Remittance LimitCNY50,000 per person
(to any bank account in Mainland China under the same name of the Remitter.)
